Can Bitcoin (BTC) Hit $70,000 Before Halving? Investors Position for Staggering Gains in Arbitrum (ARB) and InQubeta (QUBE)

Bitcoin (BTC) hitting $50,000—a level last seen in 2021—was enough to send ripples of excitement across the crypto community. With investors calling it the start of a “bull market,” enthusiasm is almost at a frenzy. The Bitcoin halving is another event expected to usher in a bullish wave, with investors anticipating BTC’s rise to $70,000 before April.

At the same time, altcoins are also enjoying a share of the spotlight, soaring alongside Bitcoin. Their massive upside potential means investors are constantly on the lookout for promising tokens, with Arbitrum (ARB) and InQubeta (QUBE) topping the list as the best cryptos to invest in.

    InQubeta (QUBE): Staggering Profit Potential

InQubeta (QUBE) is an emerging crypto with staggering upside potential for a good number of reasons. For one, it is a blend of AI and crypto, which has been lauded as a bullish narrative. Further, as one of the most promising new ICOs—a low-cap gem—it has massive room for growth.

In stage 7 of the presale, a token costs only $0.0224, and analysts predict a 7,500% jump after its launch. This makes it arguably the best new crypto to invest in and a recommended presale.

Besides this, its innovative concept as an AI altcoin, which aims to reshape the fast-rising AI sector, immensely adds to its appeal. It seeks to transform the fundraising landscape of the burgeoning AI industry by building the first crypto-based crowdfunding platform for AI tech startups. Poised for adoption and massive growth, it is a good crypto to buy.

    Bitcoin (BTC): $70,000 Before Halving?

Bitcoin (BTC) finally hit $50,000 earlier this week, a level last seen in 2021 during the last bull run. Hence, it comes as no surprise that investors call this the start of a bull market. We might be seeing the final days of the long bear market after all.

The launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs is one of the key factors responsible for the current BTC upswing. On January 10, the US SEC finally gave its green light for this investment vehicle, bringing a decade-long wait to an end. This development ushered in institutional demand for BTC, resulting in its price exploding.

Meanwhile, the BTC halving—which happens every four years—is another bullish event. It coincides with a surge in the price of BTC as rewards for miners’ halves, with investors and analysts speculating about whether Bitcoin will reach $70,000 before the event. Well, considering current market conditions, Bitcoin will likely reach this figure, making it one of the best cryptos to buy now.

    Arbitrum (ARB): Massive Profit Potential

Arbitrum (ARB) is a well-known layer-2 scaling solution on Ethereum. It employs optimistic rollups, which improves its speed, scalability, and cost-efficiency. This contributes to making it a popular destination for developers seeking innovative scaling solutions.

The rise in investor sentiment post-BTC ETF has seen Arbitrum gather steam. The excitement around its rally is enough to compete with the enthusiasm around the upcoming Wormhole airdrop—one of the biggest in 2024—leaving holders excited.

With further upside in the future, investors have been positioning themselves in Arbitrum, aiming to ride its massive bullish wave. This makes it one of the best altcoins and a good crypto to buy.

    Conclusion

While the crypto scene is abuzz with the recently concluded DYM airdrop and the upcoming Wormhole airdrop—a snapshot of eligible wallets already taken—the Bitcoin halving remains the biggest event of the year. The anticipation around the halving is expected to push BTC’s price up, perhaps to $70,000.

Meanwhile, investors have been positioning themselves to ride the altcoin wave, with Arbitrum and InQubeta as top picks. To participate in the QUBE presale, click the link below.

Coinbase adds HNT, BLUR, ARB and four other altcoins for Germany users

    • Crypto exchange Coinbase has listed 8 tokens accessible on Coinbase.com and mobile
    • HNT, BLUR, ARB, EGLD, 00, AUDIO, LDO, ATA  are now tradable on Coinbase in Germany.
    • Dogecoin continues to outperform the market after X news.

Coinbase, the leading US-based cryptocurrency exchange, has made a special announcement touching on eight altcoins.

The crypto exchange’s announcement says these tokens are now available for trading in Germany, one of the European countries with the highest number of crypto owners.

Helium (HNT), Blur (BLUR), Arbitrum (ARB)

According to the platform, these tokens are Helium (HNT), Blur (BLUR), Arbitrum (ARB), MultiversX (EGLD), 00 Token (00), Audius (AUDIO), Lido DAO (LDO) and Automata (ATA). The crypto assets are “available to Germany residents”, the announcement read.

Users can log in to buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store these assets at Coinbase.com along with the Coinbase iOS and Android apps. To access trading, users may need to refresh their application,” the company posted on its Coinbase Assets account on X (formerly Twitter).

Some of the listed tokens saw a surge in their prices following the development. However, many remained constrained as top cryptocurrencies struggled to hold onto gains. As Bitcoin hovered near $29k, altcoins like XRP and Solana were looking to keep bears off near key technical levels.

Meanwhile, Dogecoin continued to see upside action following yesterday’s Twitter rebranding to X. With speculation about a potential integration of DOGE as a payment currency on X Payments, the price of DOGE rose more than 10% in the past 24 hours.

At the time of writing, the meme coin was trading above $0.081, its highest price since April.

  • LTC, ARB and MATIC price outlook amid US debt limit deal

LTC, ARB and MATIC price outlook amid US debt limit deal

    • LTC bulls need to break above $93, a key hurdle below the psychological level of $100.
    • MATIC must reclaim $1 to target the $1.30-$1.50 range, or risk dip to $0.75.
    • Elsewhere, ARB is near a key resistance level as Arbitrum price jumps 3.9% amid the market’s reaction to US debt ceiling news.

The US has reached a “tentative deal” on its debt limit crisis after a week of high uncertainty. With the news of the deal seeping through the markets, cryptocurrencies reacted slightly positively as Bitcoin and Ethereum prices rose above $27k and $1.8k respectively.

The outlook was also visible across the top 10 altcoin market, with sentiment relief showing as Litecoin (LTC), Arbitrum (ARB), and Polygon (MATIC) moved up. Even then, markets remain largely weak as May comes to a close.

Here is what a respected crypto analyst has predicted for LTC, ARB and MATIC.

Litecoin price prediction: $93 key to LTC bulls

In March, LTC creator Charlie Lee offered a huge Litecoin price prediction. Pointing to the 14th ranked cryptocurrency (by market cap today), Lee said Litecoin price could rise to 0.0125 BTC in a new bull cycle. He also believed a downside for LTC could find support at 0.0025 BTC.

The current LTC price is above this latter level as it trades near $89.40 or 0.0032 against bitcoin. In recent weeks, analysts have pointed to Litecoin’s upcoming halving as a likely trigger for fresh upside momentum.

According to crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe, bulls need to break above a key resistance at $93 on the higher timeframe. The psychological $100 level would then be in sight as buyers eye a halving rally, he tweeted

Many squigglies on this chart, but higher timeframe resistance is at $93. Currently, support found at $82 and a strong bounce -> weekly candle looks good. Next week breaking through $93 and the Halving rally might start.”

Polygon price prediction: MATIC needs to break above $1 again

MATIC has traded lower since March, with an attempt to flip higher running into rejection in April as price fell below $1.00 (CoinJournal highlighted the subsequent price movement here). Although it remains below the dollar, bulls might have the upper hand if they reclaim control above $0.95.

Currently, MATIC/USD is around $0.92. According to van de Poppe, MATIC has bounced well above this key area since its NFT announcement during the F1 Monaco GP. Can bulls build momentum from here?

I really want to see it flip $0.95, then we can accelerate towards $1.30-1.50. If that’s not the case, then short is activated and longs can be taken at $0.75,” the analyst said in reply to one of the requests for altcoin analysis.

Arbitrum price prediction: ARB is near key resistance

Arbitrum, which was trading at $1.20 and 3.9% up in the past 24 hours at the time of writing, needs to hold above the $1.18 level to give bulls an upside boost. That could aid momentum to $1.30, van de Poppe noted.

Again, into resistance. This means, entries are available at $1.10. If it doesn’t clearly break & flip the resistance at $1.18, I’d assume shorts are triggered when falling back sub $1.18. Otherwise, long continuation trade towards $1.30.”

ARB, APT ,LRC soar as altcoins mirror ETH breakout to $2.1k

    • Altcoins are soaring, with the prices of Arbitrum, Aptos, Loopring , Optimism and Rocket Pool seeing double digit gains.
    • Ethereum price broke above $2,100 and ARB, RPL and OP prices are among the biggest gainers in the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap today.
    • Analysts says altcoins have been buoyed by ETH breakout after Shanghai, even as Bitcoin dominance fell.

Altcoins are thriving, but have a small window to see some joy amid the latest spike for Ethereum price, a top analyst has said.

Crypto market intelligence platform Santiment highlighted the move among altcoins as coming amid a pivot of profits from Bitcoin to smaller cap cryptocurrencies. The sentiment flip around alts also happens at a time Ethereum dominates the social discussion volume following its breakout above $2k.

ARB, RPL and OP prices soar as profits pivot to altcoins amid ETH breakout

On Friday, as ETH broke above $2,100 for the first time since May 2022, several altcoins followed suit, with Aptos (APT), Arbitrum (ARB), Rocket Pool (RPL), Optimism (OP) and Loopring (LRC) registering mega moves.

Arbitrum has spiked more than 18% in the past 24 hours to hit highs of $1.57, while Aptos price was also up double digits as bulls pushed for $14.

Meanwhile, Loopring traded to highs of $0.45 with +11% and Rocket Pool traded to near $52 with 18% in 24 hours. Optimism price rose to $2.64 with another +10% gain.

According to on-chain data, the altcoin market is starting thrive after Bitcoin (BTC) dominance over the past few weeks.

While BTC extended its gains above $30k – hitting highs of $30,800 on Friday – the major move was seen in Ether after the super successful Shanghai upgrade

ETH/USD first broke above $2,000 and then followed that up with a decent punch above $2,100 (buying pressure pushed Ethereum price to highs of $2,130 on crypto exchange Bitstamp.

Analyst Captain Faibik says the Bitcoin Dominace as measured by the market cap parabolic curve formation is showing a sell point. BTC dominance has shrunk to 44%, while that of Ethereum has risen to 19%. As the price of BTC rises and BTC.D falls, it suggests alts have a massively bullish opportunity and may begin to rally.

    Altcoin rally? Analysts warn traders

While top crypto analysts are pointing to Ethereum as “a leading indicator for altcoins,”(we highlighted Rekt Capital’s view here), some have said the “window” might not be that big and a pullback is likely.

Scott Melker, author of The Wolf Den Newsletter, says altcoin traders should “enjoy it while it lasts.”

Michael van de Poppe expects Bitcoin to rally to $40k and Ethereum to $2,800-$3,000 range. Alts should be seeing some momentum too – but the window will likely be small, he noted.
