Bitcoin just hit a critical point: analysts split between $85K crash and $250K surge

Bitcoin price just hit a critical point

    • Bitcoin trades near $92K amid mixed signals from ETFs and tech markets.
    • Hoskinson and Saylor predict a strong BTC rebound despite recent losses.
    • ETF outflows and macro risks could, however, push BTC toward $85K support.

While Bitcoin price has recovered from the low of $88,540 hit on November 19, the question is whether it will hit a higher high than the $93,403 registered on November 18.

Some analysts believe BTC is preparing for a deeper slide, while others insist a powerful rebound is already forming beneath the surface.

At press time, BTC price was around $92,237 and already showing signs of exhaustion, which would spell doom since it formed a lower low on November 19, which is a bearish sign.

Bullish calls grow despite the slide

At $92,237, Bitcoin (BTC) is reeling from a bruising stretch that has erased more than $33,000 from its value in under two months.

Notably, today’s uptick follows a pause in ETF outflows and a rebound in tech stocks, driven by Nvidia’s stronger-than-expected earnings.

While the market remains on edge as macro uncertainty and shifting liquidity conditions continue to pressure risk assets, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson remains one of the strongest voices calling for a major rebound.

During CNBC’s Squawk Box show on Tuesday, Hoskinson argued that Bitcoin’s recent losses reflect broader macro distortions, including tariff tensions, recession risks, and uneven regulatory signals.

Hoskinson believes these forces will ease in the coming months.

He expects BTC to recover sharply and potentially hit $250,000 within the next year, projecting that institutional adoption and large-scale tokenisation will redefine market cycles.

Michael Saylor shares a similar level of confidence, viewing the current downturn as typical of Bitcoin’s long-term behaviour.

The MicroStrategy executive says the company is built to withstand extreme drawdowns, calling his position “indestructible” in a recent interview with Fox Business.

Notably, Saylor has continued to buy BTC even as volatility increases, reinforcing his view that deep corrections are part of the broader path toward higher valuations.

ETF activity has also become a pivotal factor.

The BlackRock Bitcoin ETF posted a record $523 million daily loss on November 18 following a streak of outflows across the spot Bitcoin ETF landscape.

The Bitcoin ETFs outflow seems to have stabilised, with IBIT seeing $60M worth of inflows on November 19.

Analysts warn that sustained inflows will be essential if Bitcoin hopes to avoid a retest of this week’s lows.

    Bearish risks still loom

Not all signals point upward. Some traders see a real chance BTC could break below key support levels near $90,000.

If the market fails to hold this support, prediction platforms indicate rising expectations of a drop toward $87,000.

ETF outflows totalling more than $3 billion this month highlight lingering caution, and many retail participants remain hesitant after weeks of drawdowns.

    Macro conditions remain complicated.

Expectations of Federal Reserve rate cuts have faded, while recession concerns are resurfacing due to weak jobs data and ongoing trade friction.

These pressures have limited upside momentum even as Nvidia’s tech rally briefly boosted risk appetite.

Despite the uncertainty, Bitcoin continues to trade like a high-beta asset tied closely to broader market sentiment, and the next few days may determine whether buyers regain control or whether sellers will test new lows.

Starknet nosedives 20% amid broader crypto crash: is STRK done plummeting?

    Starknet Price Bearish

    • Starknet price dropped sharply as top cryptocurrencies tumbled to key support levels.
    • On November 18, 2025, STRK plunged nearly 20% to touch lows of $0.17.
    • STRK plunged as Bitcoin dropped to lows of $89,500.

Starknet’s native token took a sharp hit as cryptocurrencies bled on Monday, November 17, 2025, with bears extending the dip to Tuesday as STRK plunged nearly 20% to lows of $0.17.

At the time of writing, Starknet traded 14% down in 24 hours at around $0.19. The decline contrasted with gains for Internet Computer, Hyperliquid, and others.

Notably, the altcoin mirrored losses for Zcash, the top privacy coin by market cap, which was also seeing notable profit taking.

Starknet nosedived 20% amid a broader crypto crash

As the crypto market entered freefall on November 17, Starknet price plummeted.

Triggered by a number of factors, including macro jitters and geopolitical tensions, amplified selling pressure across major assets cascaded into altcoins.

For instance, Bitcoin, the bellwether of the market, shed more than 4% to drop to a low of $89,500.

The move saw the global market cap fall to $3.13 trillion. Trading volume rose 45% on Nov. 18 to over $247 billion, with the Ethereum price falling to lows of $3,000.

XRP, BNB, and Solana all recorded significant drops, pushing liquidations to above $1 billion globally.

Starknet, which rose amid recent privacy coin gains, followed suit.

The zero-knowledge proofs-powered layer 2 solution saw its STRK token fall from highs of $0.22 to $0.17. Nosediving 20% allowed bears to erase much of the token’s recent 50% rally.

As the chart below shows, Starknet price recently notched four straight green daily candles as price touched  high of $0.24. Following Monday’s dip, weekly gains are currently down to about 22%.

    Starknet price chart by TradingView

    Is STRK done plummeting?

Market observers note that while Starknet’s TVL (total value locked) remains robust at over $340 million, the token’s correlation with Bitcoin, left it exposed to the flagship coin’s volatility.

The timing couldn’t be worse for Starknet.

Just this week, the project announced a multi-million dollar program aimed at Bitcoin staking. The milestone aims to bridge the Ethereum and Bitcoin ecosystems through Starknet’s BTCFi offering.

As the crypto market dusts off some of the sell-off pressure, finding a floor near the $0.16-$0.17 mark could be crucial for bulls.

If this happens, STRK could eye $0.24 and potentially one year highs above $0.78. The main target in the short term remains the psychological $1 level.

The platform’s Bitcoin integration positions it uniquely for cross-chain growth. Bitcoin DeFi growth, especially as Ethereum’s upgrades enhance layer-2 efficiency, adds to the bullish outlook.

However, in the short term, risks such as a prolonged Bitcoin bear market could allow sellers to seek more pain.

Bulls saw STRK price fall to an all-time low under $0.04 on October 10, 2025. Current prices nevertheless hover about 305% up since.

Celestia price reclaims $1 after crash to $0.27: TIA forecast

    Celestia Price

    • Celestia’s TIA token surged back to $1 on October 14, 2025, following a steep decline to $0.27 on Oct. 10
    • Technical indicators however signal weakness amid recent bearish momentum.
    • Short-term forecasts predict TIA faces immediate resistance around $1.20 as bulls aim to strengthen the recovery from recent lows.

Celestia (TIA) price is back above $1 as bulls show resilience amid a volatile crypto market.

As the modular blockchain network’s native token seeks to continue higher, what’s the outlook in the short-term?

Notably, Celestia’s market recovery follows a significant crash that saw buyers hover at new all-time lows under $0.30 on October 10, 2025. Bittensor and a few other altcoins have nonetheless posted key gains.

Celestia price crashed to below $0.30

Celestia’s token declined sharply as Bitcoin dumped and altcoins nosedived last week, with TIA  hitting a new all-time low of $0.27.

The crash, driven by multiple structural and market-wide factors, threatened to undo a broader sentiment that had bulls in “Uptober” mood.

A broader crypto market dump, triggered by Bitcoin’s dip to below $105,000 on October 11, compounded the pressure on the token.

TIA breached key supports at $1.35 and $1.00 as it reached the $0.27 floor.

While the crash wiped out billions in value, Celestia’s bulls were able to rebound to around $0.93.

On Monday, an uptick saw them climb to $1.26 before retreating as macro jitters around US-China trade tensions pulled risk asset markets down. However, the token was looking to hold above $1.

    TIA price prediction

TIA’s price trajectory appears cautiously optimistic, bolstered by technical rebounds and strategic initiatives.

Recently, the team shared an outlook for the modular blockchain, comparing its growth to the huge impact that Amazon Web Services had amid the explosive web2 growth.

“Celestia is still in its infancy, yet it is positioning itself to become the proxy for blockspace demand. After a period of disillusionment, growth continues to accelerate,” the team wrote.

Although the daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 39, it has flipped from the oversold territory below 30.

This signals exhaustion among sellers and a high probability of mean reversion, historically preceding notable bounces in TIA’s price – recently from $1.35 to highs of $2.28 in July 2025.

    Celestia chart by TradingView

The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) also exhibits bearish momentum, but this looks to be weakening as the histogram narrows.

A bullish divergence hints at accumulating buy pressure that could help bulls.

Short-term forecasts are projecting a range of $2.27 to $3.40.

However, bulls must first strengthen above the immediate supply zone around $1.20, with hurdles at $1.54 and $1.90.

Bullish scenarios could see Celestia price target the $10-14 range in coming months.

The all-time high above $20 reached in February 2024 is also a legitimate target in the current cycle.

Failure to hold $1 though could allow bears to retest prices below $0.90.

Crypto market calm after Monday’s crash: what’s going on?

Crypto liquidation exceeds $1.5 billion as volatility deepens

    • Ether fell as much as 9% in a single session on Monday, wiping out $500 million in bets.
    • Bitcoin traded 0.8% lower, with nervous positioning seen in options.
    • $23 billion in Bitcoin and Ether contracts are due to expire on Friday.

A sharp crash on Monday wiped more than $1.5 billion from leveraged cryptocurrency positions, underscoring how fragile digital asset markets remain.

The sudden liquidation wave, one of the largest this year, unfolded without a clear catalyst and hit Ether especially hard.

By Tuesday morning in Asia, the dust had begun to settle, but prices remained under pressure and traders were braced for more turbulence as a record options expiry approached.

    Monday’s crash triggers heavy liquidations

On Monday, Ether led the declines with losses of up to 9%, sparking the unwinding of nearly $500 million in bullish bets.

Bitcoin also retreated, falling sharply before stabilising with a smaller 0.8% decline.

In total, more than $1.5 billion in leveraged positions were forced out across exchanges, making it one of the year’s biggest liquidation events after months of speculative rallies.

Analysts said the drop showed how quickly leverage combined with thin liquidity can turn into widespread selling.

    Tuesday’s session shows nervous stability

By Tuesday morning in Asia, the market was calmer, though sentiment remained cautious.

Ether trimmed its losses to around 0.9%, while Bitcoin also traded 0.8% lower.

Options activity pointed to traders positioning for further swings rather than stability, with significant bets placed on Bitcoin falling below $95,000 or rising above $140,000 before the month-end.

The appetite for protection in both directions highlighted just how unsettled sentiment has become.

    Expiring contracts add to pressure

Deribit data showed that roughly $23 billion of Bitcoin and Ether options contracts are due to expire on Friday, one of the largest expiries ever recorded.

This event has amplified caution across the market, with traders expecting volatility to dominate in the near term.

Short-term options have grown in popularity as investors look for cheaper exposure to sudden price moves, turning volatility itself into the trade.

Meanwhile, crypto treasury firms that earlier drove demand by raising funds to buy tokens have slowed their purchases.

With share prices falling, these companies have less capacity to raise capital, reducing support for prices and adding to downward pressure.

    Leverage and liquidity risks remain

Data from Binance shows open interest in perpetual futures has surged over the past few months, with Ether seeing the strongest speculative activity.

The structure has left the token more exposed to sharp reversals, acting as a higher-beta proxy for digital asset sentiment in periods of stress.

Bitcoin, by contrast, has shown relatively steadier trading thanks to deeper liquidity and its growing role in institutional portfolios.

Even so, analysts caution that the higher levels of leverage in the system compared to last year mean the risk of large swings remains.

With the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates, some expect new inflows to offset selling pressure, but links between Bitcoin and equities suggest macro policy will continue to shape its path.

iDEGEN hits public shelves with momentum as crypto prices crash

    Bitcoin dump

AI meme crypto market has grown to a market cap of $2.4 billion, and iDEGEN is set to take its rightful position on the table. After three months in the presale stage, it has hit the public shelves with the same viral momentum.

Its early adopters are set to continue reaping big from the project as the uncensored AI agent revolutionizes the crypto space. In addition to the 300,000% gains already locked in, its value may surge by at least 10X in coming months. This is despite the selling pressure current felt across the crypto majors.

Ripple price chart pattern hints at further selling pressure in the short term

After trading steadily above the support zone of $2.5000 in the past one week, Ripple price has plunged by about 16% since Monday. Similar to other crypto majors, the altcoin is under pressure as extreme fear grips the broader market.

A look at its daily chart points to the formation of a bearish death cross pattern as the short-term 25-day EMA crosses the 50-day EMA to the downside. In the near term, the range between $2.0000 and $2.3357 is worth watching. For a firm trend reversal, the bulls will need to gather enough momentum to rebreak the resistance at $2.5500.

iDEGEN debuts on Raydium with the same viral momentum

iDEGEN has hit the public shelves as promised; ending the three-month-long presale. It has debuted on Raydium, a Solana-based DEX and is set to also list on BitMart on 4th March.

What started on a blank slate ready to learn from the crypto degens on X has grown into an ultra-popular AI crypto with the potential to compete with other AI meme coins like AI16Z, Hamster Kombat, and Fartcoin.

In three months, it has managed to raise $25 million. This has been made possible by its aggressive community, apt timing, and booming AI crypto market. If the presale is anything to go by, its viral momentum is set to yield growth of atleast 10X in the coming months. At its last stage price of $0.038, its early adopters are already enjoying returns of upto 300,000%.

Bitcoin spot ETF records streak of outflows as tariff jitters persist

    Bitcoin price

Concerns over the impact that Trump’s trade policies will have on the US economy have triggered a shift in the market sentiment. Compared to last week’s neutral level of 49, the crypto fear & greed index is now at an extreme fear level of 10.

With the resultant plunge in Bitcoin price, Bitcoin spot ETFs have seen persistent outflows as its institutional demand falls. According to SoSoValue, Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded daily total outflows of $754.53 million on Wednesday. Notably, the trend has been on for 7 sessions in a row.

On its daily chart, the bearish death cross pattern points to continued selling pressure in the short term. At its current level, the bulls will be keen on defending the support at $81,600. A subsequent correction may have it rebound past $85,000 to find resistance at $90,000.

  • Bitcoin falls to $62k as crypto mirrors stocks crash

Bitcoin falls to $62k as crypto mirrors stocks crash

    • Bitcoin price dropped to its lowest level since mid-July with a dip to near $62k on August 1.
    • Stocks also plummeted as investors reacted to latest economic data and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Bitcoin price crashed 10% to trade to near $62k on Thursday as August began on a painful footing for cryptocurrencies and stocks.

On August 1, the global cryptocurrency market cap fell to $2.3 trillion amid an overall 5.7% dump. BTC fell to lows of $62,300 across major crypto exchanges. The declines also hit Ethereum, which traded to lows of $3k and Solana that retreated sharply to touch $160.

XRP, Dogecoin and Pepe also experienced sharp declines.

Why did Bitcoin, crypto prices fall today?

Losses across the crypto market came as the stock market nosedived, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average shedding more than 600 points and the S&P 500 falling 1.5%. According to CNBC, the bloodbath across stocks follows fresh investor jitters around possible economic contraction on weak data released on Thursday.

Markets’ reaction also follows Wednesday’s Federal Reserve FOMC meeting, although analysts say the market has fully priced in a September cut. Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East was also on investors’ minds.

    What next for BTC, crypto?

Commenting on the overall outlook ahead of the sharp sell-off, analysts at Singapore-based firm QCP Capital noted:

“Crypto experienced a broad sell-off overnight and into this morning. The market remains on edge as traders pay close attention to daily ETH ETF outflows and further supply pressures from Mt Gox and US government.”

According to QCP, the long term picture remains bullish for Bitcoin. Key catalysts could be the upcoming US election and direction of the quest for a sovereign Bitcoin reserve for the US.

“The establishment of a U.S. or sovereign “put” on BTC prices may have significant implications, potentially making accumulation on dips a strategic investment approach,” QCP Capital added in the note posted on Telegram.

BTC traded around $63,007 at 2:40 pm ET on Thursday, up from intraday lows.

  • $INJ Unlocked $139M in Tokens Amidst Market Crash; Presale Buyers Eye $GFOX as Market Tumbles

$INJ Unlocked $139M in Tokens Amidst Market Crash; Presale Buyers Eye $GFOX as Market Tumbles

Altcoins are showing great signs of life. Now that Bitcoin’s ($BTC) moment in the spotlight has ended and the Ethereum ($ETH) rally is taking shape (despite the current market retracement), it is only a matter of time before altcoins start to make those famous daily double-digit gains. But not all altcoins are created equal, and when searching for the best cryptocurrency to buy now investors have to pay attention to tokenomics and token unlocks.

There is a minefield of hidden sell pressure heading into 2024, with more and more major unlocks for leading tokens. Injective ($INJ) unlocked $139 million in tokens of January 21st, which could hamper chances of a strong recovery once the carnage has passed for the broader market. Presale investors are eyeing the Galaxy Fox ($GFOX) presale, betting on deflationary tokenomics this year.

Injective ($INJ) Last Round Of Token Unlocks: $139 Million Of Sell Pressure?

Injective has been among the strongest performers in the final quarters of 2023 and the early parts of this year. However, despite being a top crypto to buy, token unlocks have made investors jittery with a cliff unlock occurring on the 21st of January.

A total of 4.33% of the circulating supply was unlocked, with the bulk going to the team and a portion going to advisors – two of the most likely groups to sell the token. $139 million of sell pressure will be making its way to the Injective order books over the coming weeks, and retail will be the ones charged with absorbing it. That’s a tall order, given the devastation of the market over the past week from Grascale and FTX dumping their $BTC.

Unlocks are always a tough time for price action. The team deserves to enrich themselves after building this top-of-the-line blockchain. Built using the Cosmos SDK, Injective has been custom-built for financial applications, including basic primitives such as an on-chain order book and MEV resistance. Still, this doesn’t change the fact that retail bidders will be the ones buying the team’s bags and eating the loss.

Galaxy Fox ($GFOX) Presale Crosses $2.9 Million

Galaxy Fox has been attracting increased attention and capital over recent weeks as investors begin to understand the upside of holding deflationary assets in the bull market. Funding recently crossed $2.8 million, and nothing will stop this new hybrid token from smashing the $5 million milestone in the coming weeks. Could it be the best cryptocurrency to buy now in a sea of token unlocks?

The token burn, and fair launch mechanism leveraged by Galaxy Fox have driven most of this engagement as investors wake up to the reality of looming unlocks for almost all of the top ten cryptocurrencies and major altcoins. At the TGE, the majority of $GFOX tokens will be live, and presale participants will own 70%. This distributed ownership ensures no large wallets dumping.

Another leading feature in this ecosystem is staking rewards. Galaxy Fox has implemented a unique taxation system that funds staking payouts, allowing all $GFOX holders to earn yield on a deflationary asset. Early stakers can enjoy passive income while relaxing. The burn ensures a constantly decreasing supply, and this powerful combo is something to watch headed into the bull market.

Deflationary tokens could easily become the breakout stars this year. As demand for tokens increases during the bull market, especially tokens with passive income like $GFOX, and the total supply decreases, it will naturally cause a price spike. More capital chasing fewer tokens is excellent for early holders.

Closing Thoughts: Experts Overweight Deflationary Tokens In Bull Market

Experts always dive into tokenomics, which is, unfortunately, not something many crypto investors take the time to do. Tokenomics play a massive role in figuring out the best cryptocurrency to buy now, and investors who ignore them put themselves at a disadvantage.

Solid deflationary tokenomics models are already starting to attract a premium, as seen with the recent rise in interest for $GFOX ownership. Get an allocation while it is still undervalued by participating in the presale today!

Back to basics for Chainlink. Bulls have to defend $6 before a further crash happens.

    • Chainlink traded at $6 on Monday, stabilising at the crucial support

    • LINK buyers have always defended $6 against the onslaught of bears

    • LINK could fall further if a break in the crucial support happens

The start of Chainlink staking ignited an interest in the native token LINK. The cryptocurrency was on an uptrend in the last two weeks of November, ahead of the crucial milestone in early December. But as the early access kicked off, LINK has failed to register gains. Instead, the token has succumbed to the bear market. Bulls are battling $6, as the price now faces a brutal collapse if bears win. But will this happen?

    Chainlink price outlook and analysis

$6 is an important price level for Chainlink. Past price action shows that bulls have defended this crucial level since June. The level has been tested severally, offering clues that LINK could overcome a further slump.

Nonetheless, there is no price action signal to support a recovery up to this point. From the daily chart below, multiple inside bars are forming at the crucial level, underlying indecision in the market. Since this happens in a bear market, it signals the exit of sellers or the entry of buyers.

    LINK/USD Chart by TradingView

From a technical outlook, LINK trades below the 20-day and 50-day moving averages. The moving averages have almost been flat, indicating that LINK is better considered to be in an extended consolidation. The cryptocurrency is recovering slightly, although the RSI signals that bears remain in control.

    Will Chainlink recover?

The next price action will shape the direction of Chainlink. LINK price has stabilised at $6, but the bear pressure is still on. If the cryptocurrency loses this support, a lower price of around $5.4 will remain in sight.

  • Shiba Inu Price Predicted to Crash 50% While This New Crypto’s Price Could 10x Before 2023

Shiba Inu Price Predicted to Crash 50% While This New Crypto’s Price Could 10x Before 2023

Shiba Inu is one of the most famous meme coins in the crypto space but while it has struggled to make any gains in 2022, crypto analytics platform Dash 2 Trade is expected to make significant gains – and secured almost $2 million in just three days after its presale went live.

Amid an ongoing bear market and SHIB unable to maintain any momentum, smart investors are turning to new crypto presale projects to maximize their returns.

SHIB Price Prediction: More Pain Ahead

Shiba Inu enjoyed exponential growth in 2021 but has struggled throughout 2022, where it is currently trading 70% down from January and a massive 87% down from its all-time high.

While the project has added utility, including gaming projects and a layer 2 solution, the announcements have done little to affect price.

With unfavorable macroeconomic conditions and Bitcoin forecast to drop even further, SHIB is predicted to bleed even more.

Just like early SHIB investors saw the most gains, investors in presale projects have continued to make strong returns in 2022.

Dash 2 Trade Presale Secures Nearly $2 Million in Three Days

The Dash 2 Trade presale went live on October 20 with 35 million tokens available for $0.0467 each.

Investors rushed to buy into the project with the phase 1 cap of $1.7 million reached in just three days given its low entry point and high returns potential as one of the best ICOs of 2022.

The crypto signals project, which will send out trading alerts and track various metrics to help users maximize their earning potential, has nine stages of presale.

By the final stage, the native D2T token will be on sale for $0.0662 – an increase of 39% over phase 1.

    Dash 2 Trade 10x Potential

Dash 2 Trade has the potential to 10x by the end of the year given its low starting price and small max supply and is one of the best cryptos to buy now.

For D2T to 10x it would only need to trade at $0.472 – with a market cap of under $500 million.

With just a 1 billion max supply – and 700 million tokens available in the presale – it will also only take a $1 billion market cap to reach $1 each.

That would represent a massive 21x from the first phase and, given the potential of its protocol, is very achievable.

For SHIB to do 10x from its current price it would need a market cap of $50 billion – currently bigger than every coin except Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT.
