Aster price tanks 20% as sell-off pressure hits altcoins

    Aster Price Bearish

    • Aster price fell 20% to near $1 as sell-off pressure hit altcoins
    • The altcoin touched its all-time high of $2.42 in September, but has declined amid broader selling.
    • Altcoins are dumping as Bitcoin slips to under $106,000.

Aster (ASTER)’s parabolic gains in recent weeks are quickly fading in the rearview mirror as cryptocurrencies plummet.

The decentralized exchange’s governance token fell nearly 20% to inch closer to the $1 support level, with bulls succumbing to broader sell-off dynamics.

Aster has erased significant gains, and broader risks could see bears take control.

Aster price extends decline amid 20% dip

With crypto in red early Friday, Aster’s price plunged  20% to hit lows of $1.08 across major exchanges and trading platforms.

Having changed hands above $1.36, the double-digit declines over the past 24 hours meant ASTER ranked among the top losers alongside Zcash, Mantle, SPX6900 and Morpho.

Aster’s sharp downturn extends a multi-day decline since bulls failed to hold onto gains near $1.60.

The token had surged to the mark after bouncing off lows seen during the crypto crash on October 10.

In the past week, Aster’s price has fallen more than 32%, as profit-taking and broader macroeconomic pressures weighed on sentiment.

The next-generation decentralized perpetuals and spot exchange, built on the BNB Chain, had previously drawn significant attention from investors and traders alike.

Aster’s rapid rise had been bolstered by recent listings on major platforms such as Robinhood and Binance, which helped fuel earlier momentum.

However, the euphoria looks to be dissipating as sell-off pressure across cryptocurrencies mounts.

Bitcoin dipped below $105,000  early Friday. As bears touched lows of $104,597 after a 4% drop in the last 24 hours, top altcoins plummeted.

Ethereum, Solana and XRP all dipped to or below key support levels, intensifying the bloodbath.

What next as Aster revisits $1 level?

Currently, Aster’s price flirts with the $1 psychological threshold.

This is a key level that bulls have to defend to avoid giving up further ground.

Prices, as the chart below shows, have recently consolidated above the critical mark.

    ASTER price chart by TradingView

However, the sharp decline and breakdown from a descending triangle pattern mean bulls are at risk of more pain.

The token’s all-time high of $2.42 on September 24 is well off.

Nonetheless, technical indicators such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the daily put ASTER in oversold territory.

What this suggests is that exhausted selling could allow bulls to target a rebound.

Any downward pressure could nonetheless see the support at $1.00 collapse.

Data from Coinglass shows a sharp decline in open interest for Aster, now at $477 million.

Bullish positions have borne the brunt of the correction, with long liquidations accounting for nearly 90% of total liquidations — more than $10 million out of $12 million in the past 24 hours.

Short positions made up just $1.73 million of the total.

For bulls, a decisive breakout above $1 remains critical to regain momentum.

Conversely, sustained selling pressure below $0.85 would likely hand control to the bears.

Celestia price reclaims $1 after crash to $0.27: TIA forecast

    Celestia Price

    • Celestia’s TIA token surged back to $1 on October 14, 2025, following a steep decline to $0.27 on Oct. 10
    • Technical indicators however signal weakness amid recent bearish momentum.
    • Short-term forecasts predict TIA faces immediate resistance around $1.20 as bulls aim to strengthen the recovery from recent lows.

Celestia (TIA) price is back above $1 as bulls show resilience amid a volatile crypto market.

As the modular blockchain network’s native token seeks to continue higher, what’s the outlook in the short-term?

Notably, Celestia’s market recovery follows a significant crash that saw buyers hover at new all-time lows under $0.30 on October 10, 2025. Bittensor and a few other altcoins have nonetheless posted key gains.

Celestia price crashed to below $0.30

Celestia’s token declined sharply as Bitcoin dumped and altcoins nosedived last week, with TIA  hitting a new all-time low of $0.27.

The crash, driven by multiple structural and market-wide factors, threatened to undo a broader sentiment that had bulls in “Uptober” mood.

A broader crypto market dump, triggered by Bitcoin’s dip to below $105,000 on October 11, compounded the pressure on the token.

TIA breached key supports at $1.35 and $1.00 as it reached the $0.27 floor.

While the crash wiped out billions in value, Celestia’s bulls were able to rebound to around $0.93.

On Monday, an uptick saw them climb to $1.26 before retreating as macro jitters around US-China trade tensions pulled risk asset markets down. However, the token was looking to hold above $1.

    TIA price prediction

TIA’s price trajectory appears cautiously optimistic, bolstered by technical rebounds and strategic initiatives.

Recently, the team shared an outlook for the modular blockchain, comparing its growth to the huge impact that Amazon Web Services had amid the explosive web2 growth.

“Celestia is still in its infancy, yet it is positioning itself to become the proxy for blockspace demand. After a period of disillusionment, growth continues to accelerate,” the team wrote.

Although the daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 39, it has flipped from the oversold territory below 30.

This signals exhaustion among sellers and a high probability of mean reversion, historically preceding notable bounces in TIA’s price – recently from $1.35 to highs of $2.28 in July 2025.

    Celestia chart by TradingView

The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) also exhibits bearish momentum, but this looks to be weakening as the histogram narrows.

A bullish divergence hints at accumulating buy pressure that could help bulls.

Short-term forecasts are projecting a range of $2.27 to $3.40.

However, bulls must first strengthen above the immediate supply zone around $1.20, with hurdles at $1.54 and $1.90.

Bullish scenarios could see Celestia price target the $10-14 range in coming months.

The all-time high above $20 reached in February 2024 is also a legitimate target in the current cycle.

Failure to hold $1 though could allow bears to retest prices below $0.90.

  • Bittensor price surges 12% as TAO defies market slump

Bittensor price surges 12% as TAO defies market slump

    Bittensor TAO Token

    • Bittensor price continued higher despite the overall crypto market dump.
    • TAO was up by more than 12% amid catalysts such as Grayscale’s Bittensor Trust news.
    • Bulls could target $715 and then the psychological $1,000 mark.

Bittensor (TAO) has surged by more than 12% in the past 24 hours to rank among the top market performers today, with TAO trading to highs of $475 as it bucks the trend across most altcoins.

While the uptick came alongside a bounce for decentralized AI protocols, what else helped the Bittensor price up?

Why is Bittensor price up today?

TAO’s impressive gains align closely with the recent launch of a liquid staked TAO token, which enhances staking efficiency and liquidity within the Bittensor ecosystem.

Liquid staking allows users to earn rewards on their TAO holdings without locking assets, enabling participation in DeFi activities like lending or yield farming.

Platforms such as Tensorplex have facilitated this by bridging TAO to Ethereum and Base networks, issuing stTAO tokens that represent staked positions.

On October 13, 2025, the Tao. App announced the launch of Virtual TAO (VTAO), a new omnichain liquid staked TAO token powered by LayerZero.

Users can bridge vTAO from Bittensor to any Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible chain.

The token is available across Base, Ethereum and Arbitrum and will soon go live on Solana.

Also catalysing TAO price gains is the momentum that followed Grayscale’s Bittensor-related news.

The company filed a Form 10 registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a Grayscale Bittensor Trust ($TAO) on October 12.

This filing marks the initial step toward converting the trust into a full SEC Reporting Company under Section 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

TAO’s price has surged amid forecasts that the move could fast-track the potential launch of a Bittensor exchange-traded fund.

    TAO price forecast

Despite the dip to lows of $224 on October 11 amid a crypto bloodbath, Bittensor’s price has received a boost with the above tailwinds.

After bouncing to highs of $475, TAO’s technical outlook points to potential upside continuation.

Key indicators on the daily chart, such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), give bulls an upper hand.

    Bittensor TAO chart
    TAO price chart by TradingView

While the daily RSI has climbed to 71, entering overbought territory, it’s not overextended.

This signals likely buying momentum and investor conviction, and TAO could climb further before pullback amid profit-taking.

Also, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) recently executed a bullish crossover.

The histogram has expanded and signals more gains.

Short-term projections for TAO include a surge to a new year-to-date high above $500, with bulls likely to eye December 2024 peak above $715.

The $1,000 level is a major target for buyers.

However, risks such as broader market corrections could allow bears to test levels below the $300–$360 support zone.

$225 and then $180 are key levels.

  • Bitcoin drops as bearish data sparks a 10% price dip warning

Bitcoin drops as bearish data sparks a 10% price dip warning

Bitcoin drops as bearish data sparks a 10% price dip warning

    • Bitcoin has dropped below the key 120,000 dollar level amid a fresh sell-off.
    • The market is showing signs of low volume and a lack of upward momentum.
    • Key on-chain data shows a lack of bid support below the 120,000 dollar mark.

The triumphant return of the bulls has proven to be a fleeting and fragile affair.

Just as the market was beginning to celebrate a new era of price discovery, a wave of determined selling has sent Bitcoin tumbling back below the critical 120,000 dollar level, a brutal rejection that has the bears once again in control and raises the grim prospect of a much deeper correction.

The sell-off, which has seen the leading cryptocurrency fall nearly 3 percent on the day, is a story of fading momentum and evaporating support.

The recent all-time highs now feel like a distant memory as the market slices through the bid liquidity that had once held it aloft.

A market bracing for a deeper cut

The mood among seasoned traders has shifted from cautious optimism to a grim acceptance of a new, more bearish reality.

The market is now at a critical inflection point, with the very support that was so hard-won now under a sustained and powerful assault.

“Market does still quote bid liquidity around 121K-120K but what we need to see next is absorption of sellers to rule out a sweep lower,” the popular trader Skew wrote in his latest market commentary on X.

His short-term outlook was stark, adding that the market was “quite likely to be dominated by new shorts opening.”

This view is being reinforced by the data.

The trading resource Material Indicators highlighted that the market is now facing its “3rd consecutive Daily support test at the trend line,” a technical setup that suggests the bears are growing bolder with each attempt.

Data from CoinGlass paints an even more worrying picture, showing a distinct lack of bid support much below the 120,000 dollar mark, while a wall of sell orders has multiplied overhead.

The return of the $108,000 ghost

This short-term weakness is taking place against a backdrop of a more troubling long-term picture.

The veteran trader Roman warned his followers on X that the situation for Bitcoin remains tenuous, despite its recent record highs.

“A friendly reminder that we are once again printing more bearish divergences, low volume, & lack of momentum on HTF. Both 1W & 1M,” he wrote, pointing to a series of classic warning signs that the rally is running out of steam.

His conclusion is a chilling one for the bulls: the local range lows at 108,000 dollars, a level that has been a key battleground in the past, could soon come back into play.

The king of crypto may have briefly touched the heavens, but the bears are now doing their best to drag it back down to earth.

  • Economist Timothy Peterson puts Bitcoin price forecast at $140,000 by end of this month

Economist Timothy Peterson puts Bitcoin price forecast at $140,000 by end of this month

Timothy Peterson puts Bitcoin price forecast at $140,000

    • Timothy Peterson’s market simulation shows a 50% chance Bitcoin hits $140K in October.
    • Bitcoin recently hit $126K, needing a 14.7% rise to reach $140K.
    • Other analysts, however, note likely short-term pullbacks before potential sustained gains.

Economist Timothy Peterson has projected that Bitcoin could reach $140,000 before the end of October, citing data-driven simulations that indicate a 50% probability of the world’s largest cryptocurrency closing the month above that mark.

The analysis, grounded in more than a decade of Bitcoin’s historical price behaviour, suggests that half of the cryptocurrency’s potential October gains may already have occurred.

    Data-driven prediction, not speculation

Peterson’s projection, shared on X on October 7, 2025, was based on “hundreds of simulations” using Bitcoin’s daily price data since 2015.

“There is a 50% chance Bitcoin finishes the month above $140K,” he wrote, adding that there is a 43% chance it could finish below $136,000.

According to Peterson, the forecast is purely statistical, not influenced by sentiment or subjective opinion.

He emphasised that the results were “based purely on real data, not human emotion or biased opinion,” designed to reflect Bitcoin’s historical volatility and cyclical rhythm.

At the time of his analysis, Bitcoin was trading at around $122,000, having cooled slightly after setting a new all-time high of $126,200 earlier in the week.

Reaching $140,000 would require a roughly 14.7% gain from current levels, a move that aligns closely with Bitcoin’s average October performance over the past decade.

Historical data from CoinGlass shows that October has been Bitcoin’s second-best month since 2013, typically delivering gains of about 20.75%.

    October’s historical significance for Bitcoin

Peterson explained that “Bitcoin’s performance in October isn’t ‘set up’ by September, it’s set up throughout the entire year.”

The economist linked Bitcoin’s seasonal strength to broader financial patterns, such as the end of third-quarter portfolio rebalancing, the start of fiscal year planning, and the approach of year-end reporting windows for investment funds.

These factors, he suggested, create favourable conditions for renewed capital inflows into Bitcoin and other risk assets.

While Peterson’s model offers a probability-based outlook, he cautioned that markets do not always conform perfectly to historical patterns.

Bitcoin’s past behaviour has occasionally diverged from expectations even when data indicated high confidence levels.

Nonetheless, he maintains that the model provides a “clear, probability-based picture” of where Bitcoin’s value is most likely to move in the short term.

    Market sentiment leans bullish

Peterson’s forecast comes as market sentiment around Bitcoin remains generally optimistic.

Crypto analysts such as Jelle and Matthew Hyland have echoed bullish outlooks in recent days, highlighting Bitcoin’s successful retest of previous highs and suggesting that momentum could push prices further upward.

Earlier this week, Jelle posted, “It’s definitely over for bears. Send it higher,” while Hyland noted that “the pressure is building.”

However, not all voices in the market are calling for an immediate surge.

Analyst Ardi, known for his technical commentary, pointed out that Bitcoin often experiences a short-term pullback of around 5% after hitting new all-time highs.

Such moves, Ardi said, are typically followed by a period of choppiness and consolidation—a pattern that could play out again before any sustained rally.

Technical outlook supports Bitcoin’s upward potential

Technical indicators also appear to support a bullish bias in the near term.

According to market analysis, Bitcoin’s key support level stands at $120,899, with immediate resistance at $124,148 and a higher target of $126,021.

The cryptocurrency is currently trading above all major exponential moving averages (10, 20, 50, 100, and 200-day EMAs), signalling strong upward momentum.

Projections are that Bitcoin could reach around $121,633 in the coming days, with longer-term forecasts setting ambitious price targets of $221,485 for 2025.

  • Plume price forecast: SEC transfer agent nod boosts bulls

Plume price forecast: SEC transfer agent nod boosts bulls

    Plume Surges

    • Plume price gained by 15% as bulls reemerged amid overall market bounce.
    • The news that Plume has registered a transfer agent adds to bulls’ positivity.
    • Bulls could target its all-time high of $0.24.

Plume Network’s native token, PLUME, has surged double digits to hit highs of $0.13 amid regulatory tailwinds related to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The platform’s registration as a transfer agent with the SEC puts Plume in position as a compliant gateway for tokenized real-world assets, a move that could trigger fresh interest in its token.

Plume secures SEC nod as transfer agent

At the heart of PLUME’s ascent is Plume Network’s recent registration with the SEC as a qualified transfer agent for tokenized securities, announced on October 6.

This designation marks a critical evolution for the modular Layer-2 blockchain, which specializes in real-world asset finance (RWAfi).

As a registered entity, Plume can now legally oversee the issuance, transfer, and record-keeping of digital securities directly on-chain. It opens the door to seamless integration with established U.S. financial infrastructure.

Traditionally, transfer agents serve as custodians for shareholder registries. Key features include handling ownership transfers, dividend distributions, and corporate actions in off-chain environments.

However, legacy institutions dominate this space.

Plume’s innovation lies in automating these processes via distributed ledger technology, ensuring immutable transparency while linking capitalization tables to SEC reporting systems and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).

As adoption grows, Plume’s status could catalyze trillions in on-chain migration. It’s role in fostering interoperability between TradFi and blockchain ecosystems has the potential to drive gains.

Plume Network price gains 15% to signal potential rebound

As the cryptocurrency markets show renewed bullish sentiment, PLUME has surged to multi-week highs with 15% gains putting it among the top performers in the market.

Trading data indicates the push to intraday highs of $0.13 followed a bounce from lows of $0.10.

Notably, PLUME went vertical on Monday as news of its SEC milestone hit the market, helping bulls navigate a key resistance level that has marked a prolonged period of consolidation.

That supply zone between $0.09 and $0.105, for much of the prior week, constrained bulls.

Broader market uncertainty amid macroeconomic pressures are two crucial factors.

However, as Bitcoin bounced to highs of $126,198 and a new peak, investor confidence in Plume’s ecosystem helped the altcoin higher.

Overall upward momentum for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) added to the optimism.

    What next for PLUME price?

While price has retreated to lows of $0.11, a retest of the $0.10 area and potentially $0.09 may offer a new opportunity for bulls to decisively bounce.

The surge in daily trading volume, which is up 786% to more than $235 million, signals to the robust liquidity and market activity.

    PLUME chart by TradingView

Bulls could eye $0.24, the Plume token’s all-time high reached in March 2025.

The price action has also rippled through correlated assets, with other RWA-focused tokens like Ondo Finance.

As Plume revealed its SEC nod, Ondo Finance also benefitted from upside momentum. For this token, gains came amid news that the platform had officially finalized its acquisition of Oasis Pro.

The milestone sees Ondo secure its approval for SEC-registered broker-dealer, ATS, and transfer agent.

Sui price consolidates above $3.50 as inflows tick up

    Sui Token

    • Sui recorded approximately $3.5 million in net inflows last week.
    • Investors have injected over $138 million into Sui-related digital asset products.
    • Bulls could ride institutional demand and overall market tailwinds to target a new all-time high.

Sui (SUI) price is showing signs of a potential breakout as bulls stabilise above the $3.50 threshold.

Increased capital inflows, signalling renewed institutional interest, add to the overall bullish picture for SUI.

Sui holds a key level amid $3.5 million in capital inflows

The crypto market’s sharp bounce in the past week has Sui price poised above $3.50 and eyeing an upward continuation.

Meanwhile, the Sui ecosystem has recorded a modest yet encouraging uptick in investment activity.

According to CoinShares, approximately $3.5 million in net inflows poured into SUI-linked funds and products over the past seven days.

This comes as demand for institutional-grade exchange-traded products (ETPs) and venture-backed staking pools surges sharply.

Investors looking to position with Sui have injected over $138 million into related digital asset products and funds, with assets under management rising to $348 million.

While Bitcoin and Ethereum dominate with billions of dollars in weekly inflows, the overall bullish sentiment is helping smaller coins.

A lot of this is down to treasury strategy moves and exchange-traded funds anticipation, while macro tailwinds strengthen the push for more gains in the fourth quarter.

The $3.5 million inflows point to Sui’s appeal among institutional investors.

SUI price: is a new all-time high next?

SUI’s price action has entered a textbook consolidation phase.

Over the past weeks, the token has traded between $3.52 and $3.65, with a market capitalisation hovering around $13.1 billion and daily volume near the $1 billion mark.

As per CoinMarketCap data, this metric stood at around $997 million at the time of writing on Monday.

The altcoin’s stability comes after a 13% rally in the past week that has bulls retesting a key resistance zone.

Notably, technical indicators paint a bullish picture, with the relative strength index (RSI) sitting at 56, neutral yet trending upward.

Bids are also concentrated near the middle line of the Bollinger Bands, having seen a significant bounce off the support line.

    Sui Price
    Sui price chart by TradingView

Bullish catalysts for Sui include accelerating network growth and a supportive broader crypto market outlook.

Analysts expect substantial upside for Bitcoin, with some projecting a move toward $126,000.

Such an advance could trigger a broader sector rally, fueled by capital rotation and renewed risk appetite.

“Traders short October calls are rolling higher toward 126k–128k as $BTC keeps grinding up,” said analysts at QCP Group.

“The move shows conviction in sustained upside into month-end, with the market leaning on supportive macro stories and seasonal strength.”

A confluence of factors, including sustained inflows and strong technical momentum, could position SUI to retest its all-time high above $5.35, last seen in January.

Dash price soars 35% to $38 as privacy coins rally; analysts eye breakout toward $60

    Dash Price Soars

    • Dash price jumped 35% to above $38, trending near the key resistance zone at $40.
    • Analysts say breakout is possible but key support remains $26 area.
    • DASH gained as privacy coins Zcash and Monero rose to lead the market gainers.

Dash (DASH) price has surged 35% in the past 24 hours as top privacy coins rally.

The Dash token’s value topped $38 as of early Thursday, riding overall gains that have seen Zcash lead privacy coins amid a spike to above $150.

Dash joins the crypto party at a time when bulls are targeting the October uptick that could catapult alts to new highs.

Dash price jumps 35% to near key level

As noted, Dash which is currently trading at $36.69,rose as privacy coins showed gains.

The uptick for ZEC and Monero aided Dash’s impressive 35% leap today. A lot of the upside outlook is down a confluence of this, plus technical and broader macroeconomic catalysts.

In particular, the reaction on Wall Street as the US government officially shut down and capital rotation into top cryptocurrencies looks to fuel DASH bulls.

Privacy coin momentum: Dash mirrors ZEC, XMR gains

The cryptocurrency landscape is currently trending bullish, and one sector witnessing a robust revival is that of privacy coins.

While top coins see notable traction amid ETF and treasury asset moves, small caps like Dash are taking in inflows as concerns over data privacy and regulatory overreach continue.

Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC) are top coins in the privacy coins market. Support for ZEC by Grayscale with a Zcash Trust saw the token’s price skyrocket to highs last seen in April 2022.

Monero, also notching privacy-related momentum, gained over 10%. Dash price is mirroring this as its adoption gains further traction.

Market data reveals a 15-20% average uptick across the sector in the last month, with transaction volumes of privacy-focused tokens rising significantly year-over-year.

    Dash price chart by CoinMarketCap

DASH price forecast: Is $60 next target?

For Dash, the last 24 hours have seen trading volumes across exchanges jump over 385% to over $400 million.  This increase in volume signals potential upside continuation.

Crypto traders and analysts at Alpha Crypto Signal shared the update below on the DASH price.

“$DASH has exploded out of its long-standing horizontal channel after months of sideways consolidation,” they posted on X.”DASH had been trapped between 18–26 for almost half the year, building a strong base. The recent surge finally broke through the channel resistance with heavy volume, confirming a bullish breakout.”

The analysts noted that the key level to watch is the $35-$40 zone, with a breakout above this threshold critical to bulls’ ambitions. Gains to $60 or higher could be next amid broader market movements.

However, if profit-taking takes hold, the Dash price could dip to support around $26.

“As long as price holds above the former resistance at 26, the breakout remains valid and buyers stay in control. Another strong showing from the privacy coin sector,” the analysts added.

  • LINEA price spikes 14% as SWIFT picks Linea for pilot

LINEA price spikes 14% as SWIFT picks Linea for pilot

    • Linea token LINEA has jumped by over 14% to reach highs of $0.029 amid major SWIFT news.
    • Reports say SWIFT and bank partners including PNB Paribas and BNY are set to test blockchain messaging system.
    • SWIFT has selected Linea for the pilot.

LINEA, the native token of the Ethereum Layer 2 network Linea, has surged by 14% in the past 24 hours, with a sharp spike coming on the back of a major SWIFT announcement.

The token reached intraday highs of $0.029 as news emerged that the interbank messaging platform has selected Linea for testing its system on the blockchain. Gains saw LINEA outpace many altcoins that struggled amid broader crypto price turmoil.

SWIFT to test messaging system on Linea blockchain

SWIFT, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, which facilitates secure messaging for over 11,000 financial institutions across more than 200 countries, is embarking on a transformative experiment.

According to exclusive insights from The Big Whale, SWIFT has partnered with Consensys-developed Linea, an Ethereum Layer 2 solution, to explore migrating its core messaging system onto the blockchain.

Gregory Raymond, co-founder of The Big Whale, shared the news on X.

The collaboration will also involve global banking giants, with over 10 banks including BNP Paribas and BNY.

SWIFT is also set to team up with over a dozen institutions on the project, said The Big Whale, with many of these already engaged in the initiative’s proof-of-concept phase.

According to a well-placed source, the project, though still in development, could herald a significant technological overhaul of the international interbank payments industry.

Why the layer 2 blockchain Linea?

Linea’s appeal lies in its emphasis on privacy, enabled by advanced cryptographic proofs.

The banks see this as aligning with the regulatory and security demands of the banking sector.

Linea offers an enterprise-grade infrastructure platform for global finance.

Per details on its website, the network already supports financial institutions like Mastercard, Visa and JP Morgan.

The Consensys-backed platform is designed for blockchain solutions, including tokenization, trading, payments, and onchain settlement.

It allows for integration with decentralized finance protocols, custodians, and real-world asset tokenization platforms.

    LINEA price spikes amid news

SWIFT’s plans and The Big Whale’s report on the development triggered a notable market reaction from the LINEA community.

    LINEA price chart on CoinMarketCap

As the token soared over 14%, the price increase was accompanied with a 6% increase in daily trading volume to $353 million.

The gains saw Linea join the likes of Subsquid, Solv Protocol and Lombard in outpacing the top coins.

    Story Price Bearish

    • Story (IP) price fell sharply to hit lows of $7.13 on Friday, extending losses amid profit taking.

    • Analysts say Story’s strong traction as a real-world assets platform could help IP price bounce.

Story (IP), the token of the Story Protocol, has experienced a sharp correction in the past 24 hours.

Amid a more than 25% dip, the IP token has erased most of the gains seen as bulls pushed to a new all-time high early this week.

The losses have come amid heightened selling pressure as profit taking across the market hits major coins.

IP price nosedives amid profit taking

Story is the intellectual property blockchain targeted for a AI-native infrastructure for the $80 trillion IP asset class.

The protocol’s IP token, which powers the blockchain designed to tokenize and manage intellectual property assets ranging from AI models to creative works, plummeted 25% in the last 24 hours.

Losses saw price plummet to lows of $7.13, extending the dramatic drop that has followed IP’s surge to the all-time high of $14.89.

This means Story’s price has dropped more than 51% since its peak on Sept. 22.

Enthusiasm over the Story Protocol’s innovative approach to programmable IP licensing and its integration with decentralized applications drove bulls to dominance.

But with Bitcoin selling off and major altcoins following suit, IP has pared most of the upside.

Story Protocol, while innovative in its RWA approach, faces many of the headwinds that impact most cryptocurrencies, including a broader downturn of risk assets.

Why are analysts bullish on Story (IP)?

Despite the turmoil, some observers point to underlying strengths. Story Protocol’s recent tokenization of high-profile IP demonstrates real-world utility.

Key partnerships and integrations signal this strong traction and in institutional interest amid AI and blockchain adoption growth, add to this bullish perspective.

This is so as RWA takes shape, and the platform’s focus on the multi-trillion-dollar IP market gives it an edge.

“At its core, Story is the only blockchain purpose-built to make IP programmable, traceable, and monetizable in real-time, at global scale.

Conventional blockchains can represent static ownership but cannot embed dynamic, programmable license terms,” the Story team noted following mainnet launch.

Crypto analysts have also pointed to Grayscale’s launch of the Story Trust as a potential catalyst for IP. Hype are ETFs and institutional demand could be key.

Holding above $6.00 and successful bounce to $10 will buoy IP bulls. However, a dip below this key demand reload zone could allow sellers to target the $3.20 area.
