Aster price retests $1.2 level as whale scoops 8.4M tokens

    ASTER Price

    • Aster price jumped 7% as bulls retested the $1.2 resistance level.
    • Technical breakout signals a potential upside continuation.
    • A whale has added to their ASTER accumulation, now holds over 8.4 million of these tokens.

The Aster (ASTER) token has its price hovering above $1.17 as bulls look to retest the $1.2 resistance level.

While the 7% intraday gains as of writing suggest a quiet day in Aster price movement standards, the uptick comes amid a notable strategic accumulation of 8.4 million ASTER tokens.

Consistent buying activity, coupled with emerging technical patterns, could shape an upside explosion for the DEX token.

    Whale accumulates 8.4 million ASTER

Recent on-chain data, highlighted in a post by Lookonchain on X reveals that the whale “ThisWillMakeYouLoveAgain” has significantly bolstered its position in Aster since November 4, 2025.

Over this period, the entity has acquired 8.41 million ASTER tokens, purchased at an average price of $0.97 per token.

This accumulation has yielded an unrealized profit of $1.1 million as of the latest updates.

Per onchain data, the whale’s transaction history spans multiple deposits of USDT into the Aster platform and subsequent token purchases. It speaks of a calculated strategy.

Notably, this investor previously realized substantial profits from trading PEPE.

Another factor that is pulling Aster up is buybacks.

Over the past 24 hours, ASTER token buybacks surged 50%, reaching a pace of $7,500 per minute.

The initiative removed 2.4 million ASTER coins from circulation, valued at approximately $2.8 million, equivalent to 0.12% of the total circulating supply.

The resulting supply reduction has provided bullish momentum for the token, with market sentiment further lifted by rumors of a potential Coinbase listing and a technical rebound that has drawn renewed interest from crypto traders.

A lot of the wins are down to astute market timing, and having bought ASTER at lows this past few weeks, the suggestion is that the bull has fresh confidence in Aster’s potential.

Aster price outlook amid technical breakout

While many altcoins continue to struggle, Aster’s price has exhibited a technical pattern breakout.

The token’s uptick and potential retest of the $1.2 level align with a breakout from a symmetrical triangle pattern on the 4-hour chart.

If bulls close above the resistance line of the triangle and print a retest around $1.215 seen earlier, it could be indicative of a reversal from bearish to bullish momentum.

The RSI and Chaikin Money Flow indicators further support this trend, with the former above 62 and likely to extend upward.

The CMF metric signals consistent capital inflows and hints at an accumulation phase that could propel Aster toward higher resistance levels.

Should the $1.2 barrier be breached, technical forecasts suggest potential targets between $1.25 and $1.50 in the near term.

Bulls’ plans will be contingent on continued market support.

However, with broader weakness, bears might have other plans.

The coming days will therefore be critical in determining whether the token can sustain upside momentum above $1.2 or not. In the case of a negative flip, prices may fall to immediate support at lows of $1.08 and $0.96.

  • Tornado Cash price forecast: TORN retests key level as bulls eye $20

Tornado Cash price forecast: TORN retests key level as bulls eye $20

    Tornado Cash

    • Tornado Cash price retests supply wall at $12 with 6% spike in the last 24 hours.
    • Overall bounce for top coins has seen TORN price rebound from lows of $11.50 to retest the key resistance area around $12.40.
    • The technical picture is bullish with TORN looking to break above a key ascending triangle pattern on the daily chart.

Tornado Cash (TORN), the governance token for the Ethereum-based privacy protocol, recently in the headlines for a court verdict on one of its co-founders, is trading at a key level after bouncing off recent lows.

With the broader cryptocurrency market displaying resilience, and analysts forecasting a recovery in Q4, is TORN’s price action set for further gains?

Could bulls retest the $20 last seen in January 2025?

Tornado Cash price retests $12 hurdle

As cryptocurrencies struggled amid bearish pressure on Monday, Tornado Cash traded lower alongside other tokens.

However, with top coins recouping some gains, TORN rebounded from lows of $11.50 to climb to the key resistance area around $12.40.

Notably, this is a level that has previously provided a significant supply wall for TORN.

A retest of the area comes with price action that mirrors that of the broader market bounce as both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) bounce to key levels after experiencing dips on Monday.

BTC, which briefly fell below $108k, has regained ground to trade above $110k.

Meanwhile, ETH, down from its new all-time high above $5k, has stabilised above $4,400 as bulls keep bears off.

TORN’s upward move aligns with this renewed market optimism, as the token tests the $12.40 resistance zone.

As noted, this level has historically acted as a barrier, having thwarted bulls in December 2024 and January 2025.

In the past 24 hours, Tornado Cash crypto is up nearly 6%.

However, its 24-hour trading volume is a mere $84.9k, with this up 3% from the previous day to signal minimal market activity.

Tornado Cash price forecast: Is $20 next?

The technical outlook for TORN is increasingly bullish, with the token forming an ascending triangle pattern on the daily chart.

Analysts associate this pattern with potential breakouts, and the $12.40 resistance level is critical in this respect.

If there’s a decisive close above this point, momentum could propel TORN toward the next significant resistance at $20.

Looking at the chart, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) currently sits at 57.

Year-to-date highs of $27 and the November 2024 peak of $39 could be the next targets.

If TORN fails to decisively breach $12, it may retreat to the $10 support level. A robust buy zone is around $7.20.

Bitcoin price retests $29,300: consider this key metric

    • Bitcoin price has broken above $29k, testing the $29,300 zone.
    • On-chain data shows BTC holders are increasingly betting long on the asset.
    • A macro sentiment indicator suggests Bitcoin price is poised for a parabolic move.

Bitcoin rose more than 4% on Monday to break above $29,300 again, with data showing the gains come amid a rising count of BTC holders.

The week ahead is expected to be huge for the market in terms of the economic data releases. But even as the broader market awaits the US consumer price index report, Santiment says most trader in the Bitcoin market are increasingly looking at the asset as a long-term bet.

It’s a trend likely to buoy a new upside momentum for bulls.

Bitcoin price indicator in focus – the aSOPR

According to Bitcoin analyst Ali on Twitter, BTC is primed for a parabolic ride given the outlook of one of Bitcoin’s macro market sentiment indicators.

In a price forecast he shared as BTC entered last weekend in a tight range around $28k, the analyst pointed to the Adjusted Spent Output Profit Ratio (aSOPR). The potential movement is still in play as Bitcoin crossed above $29k again on Monday.

Another Bitcoin indicator hints at explosive growth! Historically, aSORP (90d) below 1 signals a bear market, & above 1 signals a bull market. In 2015, 2019 & 2020, it led to 6,110%, 150%, & 579% gains. aSORP recently moved above 1, suggesting $BTC readies to go parabolic,” the analyst noted.

BTC/USD currently trades around $29,200 and bulls will want to have the stubborn supply zone at $30k locked up with a major breakout performance.

If not, the consolidation seen in the past several weeks and a possible dip below the range is likely.
