Mantle targets new ATH after hitting $1.77 amid ZK rollup upgrade

    Mantle Price New Peak

    • Mantle surged by 15% to reach a record high of $1.77.
    • The total value locked exceeded $2 billion, making Mantle the largest ZK rollup by TVL.
    • Mantle’s transaction volumes also soared, with hundreds of thousands of daily transactions.

Mantle Network’s native token, MNT, surged to a record all-time high of $1.77 on September 17, 2025, driven by the successful completion of its mainnet upgrade to a zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup architecture in a landmark development for Ethereum’s Layer 2 ecosystem.

This price gain comes as other cryptocurrencies like PancakeSwap and Filecoin also edge higher.

    Mantle completes ZK rollup upgrade

Mantle’s transition from an optimistic rollup to a full ZK rollup represents a pivotal evolution in its infrastructure with the upgrade, enabling the network to generate validity proofs for state transitions without disclosing underlying data, thereby bolstering security and reducing reliance on fraud-proof challenges.

This shift addresses longstanding limitations of optimistic models, where transactions assume validity until contested, potentially delaying finality.

“With today’s mainnet upgrade, the journey is complete: Mantle is now the world’s largest ZK rollup by TVL, with over $2 billion secured by Succinct’s technology,” said Edward Li, growth and business development lead at Succinct.

Mantle’s total value locked (TVL) stood at approximately $218 million prior to the upgrade as  post-implementation having ballooned to over $2 billion, cementing its status as the world’s largest ZK rollup by this metric.

By incorporating EigenLayer’s , Mantle ensures robust decentralization without overburdening the base chain, a hybrid approach that has drawn praise from developers seeking EVM-compatible environments.

Mantle price outlook and token performance

The announcement catalyzed an immediate price rally for Mantle, with MNT climbing over 15% to breach its previous peak of $1.68 set last month.

According to trading data from major exchanges like Binance and Coinbase, MNT’s market capitalization surpassed $5.4 billion, ranking it among the top 30 cryptocurrencies.

Analysts have also related the price surge to a number of factors, like renewed institutional interest in ZK technologies amid Ethereum’s Dencun upgrade.

Mantle’s ecosystem incentives, including yield-bearing stablecoins like mETH and upcoming products such as crypto index funds, also boosted price.

    Mantle price chart by TradingView

Looking at Mantle’s price chart, the cryptocurrency trades around $1.64, slightly lower than the $1.77 all-time high.

Selling pressure contributed to the decline in MNT price.

However, bulls are targeting a new ATH amid a bull flag pattern as Mantle’s ZK framework unlocks cross-rollup interoperability.

With over 5.86 million active accounts already, predictions suggest total value locked could double by year-end, driven by partnerships with EigenLayer and Succinct.

Nonetheless broader market challenges might persist, including competition from established ZK players like Polygon zkEVM and potential regulatory scrutiny on restaking mechanisms.

In this case, the price levels to watch could include $1.40 and $1.09.

  • Bitcoin remains under pressure as gold targets a new all-time high

Bitcoin remains under pressure as gold targets a new all-time high

Bitcoin remains under pressure as gold targets a new all-time high

    • Bitcoin’s rally attempt fails as it retreats to below 112,000 dollars.
    • Gold continues its quiet but powerful climb, nearing its all-time high.
    • In August, gold is up nearly 4 percent while Bitcoin has fallen over 5 percent.

A hopeful rally in the cryptocurrency market was decisively crushed on Thursday, as steady selling pressure throughout the US trading session sent prices into a familiar retreat.

The failed bounce underscores a growing sense of fatigue in the digital asset space and throws a stark and revealing light on the silent, powerful ascent of its analog rival: gold.

After a brief flirtation with the 113,000 dollar level, Bitcoin (BTC) was beaten back, sinking to 111,800 late in the session for a loss of 0.7 percent over the past 24 hours.

The selling was even more pronounced in other major tokens, with Ether (ETH) and XRP shedding a more sizable 2.1 percent and 1.4 percent, respectively.

The one notable bright spot in a sea of red was Solana’s SOL, which managed to buck the trend with a respectable 3.1 percent gain.

A silent ascent to the summit

While the crypto market grapples with its own inertia, a different story is unfolding in the world of precious metals.

Quietly, but with unshakable conviction, gold has been on the rise. The yellow metal added another 0.8 percent on Thursday, climbing to 3,477 dollars per ounce.

This puts the safe-haven asset just a few dollars shy of the record high of 3,534 dollars it touched earlier this month.

The performance in August paints an even more dramatic picture of this great divergence: while Bitcoin has slid 5.2 percent, gold has rallied by nearly 4 percent.

    The great disconnect

This decoupling is the great mystery currently haunting the market.

The very same macroeconomic tailwinds that are propelling gold higher—namely, the prospect of lower interest rates and a weaker US dollar—are conspicuously failing to ignite any significant bid for “digital gold.”

The fundamental case for Bitcoin as an inflation hedge and a store of value is being put to a severe test, and for now, it is failing.

    A September showdown looms

The stage is now set for a potentially volatile final four months of the year.

The resumption of Federal Reserve rate cuts appears to be firmly on the table for September, a move that could be amplified by President Trump’s appointment of one or possibly two new, likely dovish, members to the Fed’s board.

As these powerful forces converge, the market is watching to see if Bitcoin can finally catch the golden tailwind or if its strange and troubling disconnect is a sign of a deeper malaise.

  • Solana price breaks past $200, targets July peak

Solana price breaks past $200, targets July peak

    Solana price breaks past $200

    • Solana (SOL) jumps above $200, aiming for the July peak of $206.32.
    • Whale sales and unstaking raise short-term supply concerns.
    • $170 support and $206 resistance are key to the next price move.

Amid renewed altcoin market optimism, the native token of Solana, SOL, has surged past the $200 mark, reclaiming a key psychological level.

Over the past 24 hours, SOL has risen by 15.4% to trade near $201.71, with a 24-hour range stretching from $174.20 to $201.58.

    Solana now targets July peak

Crucially, breaking $200 is a psychological and technical milestone that can attract buyers. As renowned analyst Jelle notes, “above $200, very little resistance left to bring it back down.”

Technically, a minor support sits at $195.26, while the critical support ranges from $187.71 to $184.67.

A breakdown through $173.43 would signal a medium-term reversal and might target the June–August trendline near $163.37.

However, on short timeframes, the hourly Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is gaining in the bullish zone, and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains above 50, indicating moderate momentum.

With the sharp price surge, all eyes are now on the July high at $206.32 as the next immediate target.

Moreover, if SOL clears $206.32, there are chances that it could extend toward the March 2024 peak at $210.18, testing bullish conviction. Market analysts project that the token will rise to $222.66 or even $230.32, especially if it clears the resistance at $204.

So far, SOL has climbed more than 13% from Monday’s low of $173.43, hinting at a strong bullish momentum.

    Whales stir concern

Meanwhile, on-chain data shows large transfers to exchanges, prompting questions about distribution.

Specifically, more than 226,000 SOL moved to exchanges in recent days.

Notably, one whale slashed holdings by 71% in under two days, trimming a $24 million position to roughly $6.8 million.

These sales clustered near an average price of about $177 and coincided with a dip below $185.

    SOL unstaking adds pressure

In addition, a wallet linked to Alameda Research unstaked roughly $35 million worth of SOL.

The tokens had been locked since late 2020, when their value was about $350,000 — a roughly 100-fold gain.

Nevertheless, the Net Position metric remains positive and has helped price consolidate above the critical $170 level.

What traders should watch out for

Notably, despite the rebound, Solana has lagged Ethereum in recent stretches.

Indeed, SOL is up roughly 1.07% in August while ETH has gained about 15.75%. Over the quarter, ETH’s roughly 72% return far outpaces SOL’s near 12.8%.

Importantly, large exchange inflows and the Alameda unstaking raise the prospect of coordinated distribution.

If $170 fails to hold, traders should expect increased downside and a deeper correction.

Conversely, a sustained breakout above $206.32 could draw fresh buyers and revive momentum.

  • Solana price prediction: SOL targets breakout above $200

Solana price prediction: SOL targets breakout above $200

    Solana Price Bullish

    • Solana price is above $190, with intraday highs of $192 as bulls target the psychological $200 level.
    • Analysts say SOL could explode above the $190 level amid current altcoin gains.
    • Institutional interest in Solana continues amid investment product inflows.

Solana (SOL) is trading above $190 on Monday, breaking higher to hit its highest level since February.

This comes as SOL gained over 14% this past week and by more than 34% in the past month, buoyed by a rally for altcoins after the GENIUS Act became law.

With on-chain activity and technical indicators bullish, analysts say a breakout above $190 could see Solana rally hard. Other altcoins, including Ethereum, XRP, and Cardano, are also bullish.

Solana price breaches key resistance level

Solana has recently ticked higher amid an upward trend that excites bulls, with analysts noting it’s poised for a potential parabolic move if it breaks above a critical resistance level.

According to an analysis by Glassnode, the next major resistance for SOL is around $190, where investors have accumulated over 8 million Solana tokens.

Although this accumulation zone represents a significant hurdle, bulls are currently retesting it.

Buyers have in the past 24 hours gained nearly 7% to breach the supply barrier and reach intraday highs of $191.79.

Furthermore, Glassnode suggests breaking above this level could be key as the supply becomes less dense.

As a thinning supply zone sits above $190, the $200 price level could be on the cards.

    SOL price forecast

As noted, market forecasts for Solana are increasingly optimistic, with a confluence of technical and on-chain factors in favour.

Liquidations have jumped as shorts feel the heat, accounting for over $12 million of the $16 million wiped out in the past 24 hours.

Notably, market observers say that high market activity has often seen SOL liquidations explode on Solana-based perpetual trading platforms.

This surge in on-chain liquidations underscores the intense trading volume and speculative interest in SOL, particularly on decentralized platforms leveraging Solana’s high-speed blockchain.

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez says a break above $189 for SOL leaves nearly no major hurdle for bulls.

Solana’s total value locked (TVL) amid a massive spike in decentralized finance (DeFi) adoption adds to the bullish sentiment for SOL.

Solana-based digital asset products exchange-traded products have also been on an upward trend in terms of inflows.

The ETPs, including exchange-traded funds (ETFs), managed over $39.1 million in inflows for the past week.

While it lagged Bitcoin’s $2.19 billion in weekly inflows, the number is a reflection of growing adoption for SOL.

DeFi TVL on Solana has in fact jumped to $10.2 billion, hitting the milestone for the first time in nearly two years.

The SOL price appreciation has helped push the TVL up, with Jito Sol up to $3.09 billion, Jupiter Exchange to $2.9 billion and Kamino Finance to $2.89 billion.

XRP price targets breakout above $3 as BTC hits fresh ATH

    XRP price

    • XRP price has gained 5% to hit $2.50, its highest level in nearly two months.
    • Ripple’s token appears poised to challenge its 2025 high of $3.40.
    • A breakout could potentially bring the all-time high of $3.84 into view, though support lies around $2.29 and $2.10.

Ripple’s XRP posted a strong uptick as the cryptocurrency market witnessed a fresh dose of optimism amid Bitcoin’s surge to a new all-time high above $113,718.

Bitcoin’s rally, which saw the benchmark digital asset trade more than 4% in the past 24 hours, saw Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and BNB (BNB) hit key price levels. Amid this bullish wave, XRP broke to $2.5, reaching its highest level since May 2023.

This uptick, bolstered by fundamental developments and Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s recent Senate testimony, has sparked speculation about a potential breakout above $3, with analysts eyeing a new all-time high for XRP.

    XRP price: bulls reach $2.5

XRP has surged to $2.50, marking a 5% increase in the last 24 hours and a nearly 11% gain in the past week. The altcoin’s upward momentum saw it reach its highest price since May 2023, when it traded above $2.58.

Gains on the day come as the broader cryptocurrency market rides a fresh wave of bullish sentiment. As noted, Bitcoin’s new peak above $113k has seemingly set the tone for altcoin rallies.

ETH and SOL have posted gains of 5% to 6%, while BNB is looking to follow suit with a 2% uptick in the last 24 hours.

    XRP chart on CoinMarketCap

Ripple’s strategic advancements, including its application for a US banking license and a partnership with BNY Mellon to custody Ripple’s USD-backed stablecoin, RLUSD, have buoyed XRP price.

Additionally, Garlinghouse’s testimony before the US Senate Banking Committee on July 9, 2025, where he emphasized regulatory clarity for digital assets, has reinforced XRP’s position as a major crypto market player.

Ripple price prediction: Is XRP set for new all-time high?

As altcoins stack gains, analysts are increasingly optimistic about an altseason.

XRP’s trajectory, with derivatives markets signaling strong bullish momentum and key fundamental milestones, could rally hard.

According to Coinglass, XRP’s futures open interest has surged to $5.89 billion, up 6%. Growing investor confidence and speculative bets on further price increases have also seen the derivatives volume surge over 27% to $9.84 billion.

On the technical front, XRP’s chart shows promising signals.

    XRP chart by TradingView

The daily chart shows the Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 69, indicating strong buying pressure.

While it is upsloping, the RSI has not pierced into the overbought territory. Meanwhile, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) displays a bullish crossover, suggesting upward momentum.

If upside strength holds, a break to resistance at $2.70 will bring $3.00 into play. The all-time high of $3.84 will be the next target. On the flipside, the critical support area is at $2.29 and $2.10.

  • Bitcoin (BTC) price targets $63k as crypto market awakens after Fed rate cut

Bitcoin (BTC) price targets $63k as crypto market awakens after Fed rate cut

Bitcoin (BTC) price breaks above $62K as crypto market awakens after Fed rate cut
    • Bitcoin has broken past $62K post-Fed rate cut; next resistance at $63K.
    • Ethereum and Solana have also surged, reflecting a broader crypto market rally.
    • Caution remains due to economic uncertainties and potential regulatory issues.

Bitcoin (BTC) price has surged past $62,000 following the US Federal Reserve’s decision to cut interest rates by 50 basis points.

The move by the Fed, aimed at bolstering economic growth and mitigating recession risks, has ignited a rally across digital assets. The monetary policy adjustment has not only energized Bitcoin but also lifted a broad range of altcoins and risk assets.

Next Bitcoin (BTC) price resistance level at $63k

Currently trading around $62,096, Bitcoin’s price has demonstrated a solid 24-hour gain of 2.29% and a more impressive 7-day increase of 6.20%.

Most notably, the price breach above the $62,000 mark represents a crucial psychological milestone for Bitcoin, following a period of consolidation near $60,000.

Technical analysis highlights that Bitcoin’s next significant resistance level is positioned at $63,000, with the potential for further gains if this barrier is surpassed. The upper boundary of Bitcoin’s Bollinger Bands indicates heightened volatility, suggesting that while a short-term profit-taking phase may occur, the overall trend remains strongly bullish.

Support is firmly established at around $60,100, acting as a critical floor that has been repeatedly tested and held firm.

Investor sentiment towards Bitcoin is largely positive, with increased trading volumes reflecting growing institutional interest.

As Bitcoin’s (BTC) price continues to climb, it benefits from a broader narrative of cryptocurrencies serving as a hedge against traditional market volatility and inflation fears, which have been exacerbated by the Fed’s dovish stance.

Ethereum and Solana lead as altcoins mirror Bitcoin’s surge

The rate cut by the US Federal Reserve has not only impacted Bitcoin price but has also spurred a broader rally in the cryptocurrency market, lifting major altcoins alongside Bitcoin (BTC).

Ethereum (ETH), for instance, has surged past $2,400, marking a 24-hour increase of 4.94% and a 7-day rise of 2.97%. Ethereum’s price reached $2,430 before settling slightly, mirroring Bitcoin’s bullish trend. Technical indicators show Ethereum facing immediate resistance at $2,430, with potential for further gains if it breaks above this level.

Solana (SOL) has also seen significant price movements, surging by 6.03% to reach $138.65. This gain underscores renewed confidence in Solana’s ecosystem and its applications in decentralized finance (DeFi) and NFTs.

Other altcoins, such as Ripple (XRP) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), have also experienced notable increases, with XRP rising by 1.20% to $0.59 and SHIB climbing 7.85% to $0.00001427.

    Analysts remain cautious

Despite the overall positive sentiment, market participants remain cautious. Mixed reactions and concerns about the sustainability of the rally are prevalent. Analysts suggest that while the rate cut has provided a significant short-term boost, the broader economic uncertainties and potential regulatory challenges could impact future performance.

In particular, Presto Research notes that the market remains divided, highlighting the need for relief from growth concerns to maintain upward momentum.

Amid the mixed market outlook, the coming months will be critical in determining whether the current Bitcoin (BTC) price rally can sustain momentum and push digital assets to new highs.
